About Our Club
- We coordinate play using PlayTime Scheduler
- This is where you can see and post playtimes in the area. Follow the link above, set up an account, select Portland OR & Vancouver WA Metro as your region. Playtimes at Jaquith Park will show in a blue circle (along with other local playing areas).
- Temporary nets in gear boxes at Jaquith Park
- NPC exists to foster an inclusive pickleball community that promotes fun, fitness, and friendship for players of all skill levels. We aim to create opportunities for recreation, competition, and connection while encouraging personal growth and a lifelong love for the game.
- As an NPC member you have access to the pickleball equipment at Jaquith Park in Newberg.
Guidelines for NPC Equipment boxes
Once the payment has been received, NPC will send out a welcome letter with the code to the gear box within 24 hrs.
- DO NOT SHARE THE CODE!!! We expect you to be responsible for the club’s property.
- For each equipment box: Unlock the code box, open the equipment box, and put the key back in the code box. SCRAMBLE THE CODES!!
- Open both boxes and keep them open. This gives access to the container for drop-in pay. Encourage nonmembers to place $2 in the container or join the group.
- If you open the box to start a session, you are responsible for locking up everything unless you pass that responsibility to another NPC member.
- When you take down the nets, be sure that all the pieces are in the correct bag. Leave the net on the end posts and be sure to place the rolled up net on top of the bars. Zip the bag at least part way so pieces don’t fall out. Place it neatly in one of the boxes. Try to keep the boxes tidy.
- At the end of play make sure all equipment is in the boxes and lock them. Make sure the codes on each lock have been scrambled.
- All equipment must stay on site.
- Balls - if the Selkirk balls crack please do not throw them away, put them in the cracked ball bag that is in one of the equipment boxes. We will be able to get these balls replaced at no cost.
